There are not many toys that we can still buy for tweens, but we bought this for our 12 year old for his birthday, and he and his 15 year old brother will play with this together and really have fun. It is very well made and is super easy to take on and off the doorway. The string rolls out for different lengths, so it is really funny when it is really low to the ground and very challenging to hit back and forth.

I got Door Pong for my 6 year old granddaughter and she loves it. In her own words "this is awesome". Great alternative to getting a full sized ping pong table. After the initial play period she learned that one doesn't have to smash the ball as hard as possible. A slower hit results in more control and a longer volley.

This is a great indoor toy for covid- great for eye hand coordination and adjustable for each child. perfect for the 6 year old I purchased this for.

Great indoor toy

Great that it came with a second ball as our child broke the first one right away - but I don't have the instructions anymore and cannot find them online - can someone tell me how to remove this piece without breaking it so I can put the replacement ball in?

This game is really fun for the kids. It almost reminds me of tether ball more than ping pong. It can be a challenge even for adults to hit the ball back to someone in time but it is still a fun game. Much easier for my 7 year old than my 4 year old.

Purchased for set of 9 year old twin boys. In theory the idea of this toy was better than actual play value. The boys ( grandsons) did not find the door pong engaging enough to want to play with it for any extended period of time, it was just batting a ball back &amp; forth, which became boring to them. It turned out that their 2 cats had more fun playing with the ball dangling from the string than they did. The Door Pong just did not hold their attention.

Purchased this product for our 7 year old grandson for Christmas. He and his 5 year old brother enjoyed playing with it together and by themselves. Unfortunately the first ball broke in half after a few hours of off and on play and had to replaced by the backup ball and string provided in the package. Both of the boys enjoyed the activity. Very good for eye/hand coordination.

The rackets and ball come ready to play with - immediate gratification. However, the older child can't really play with his little brother with this. Maybe if they were 6 & 8 it would work. the younger one (3+) can't make it work for him. That being said, when it's 100* outside or raining, it's something to do, even with parents or grandparents.

I was really excited for this toy. With it being winter I needed something that could be used inside but also use some energy up. They played with it for a total of three hours before the pong cracked. The kids weren't overly rough or hitting it very hard (our space is small where we have it set up). I'm glad there is a replacement ball included but if the first one broke within a couple hours, I'm a little nervous that this toy will just end up in the trash. I wouldn't recommend this toy. I am pleased with the shipping speed and really enjoy this company.

I bought this for my autistic thirteen year old son. He found it boring and walked away from it. I lowered the ball closer to the floor, and let my 6 month old kitten use it. She loved it. It was hours of kitty entertainment. I felt good, because it wasn't a total waste of my money. Then on day 2, I heard my kitten screaming out in an alarming voice. I immediately ran to her. I found that the ball got tangled around the string, and her paw was caught between the string and the tangle, causing a noose effect. The more she struggled to escape, the tighter that the string/tangle would get around her paw. I shudder to think, what would have happened the circulation to that paw, if I were not home. In theory, this was a great idea, but in concept, it's a boring toy for children and dangerous for cats.
